IVF & Reproductive Medicine

Infertility is not a single diagnosis — it is a symptom with dozens of potential causes. My approach combines advanced diagnostics, personalised stimulation protocols, and the latest evidence to maximise your chances of a successful pregnancy.

Longevity & Healthspan

Longevity medicine isn't cold plunges, supplements, or aesthetic procedures. It is the science of making your body stronger, more resilient, and biologically younger — so that the decades ahead are productive, functional, and fully lived. The changes I work on now won't be visible for years. That's exactly the point. I look at your whole system — hormones, metabolism, cardiovascular biology, bone density, brain health, sleep, and inflammation — and build a plan for the person you will be at 70, 80, and beyond.

Operative Gynaecology

Gynaecological conditions are chronically under-investigated and undertreated. I operate on and treat patients across the full spectrum of gynaecological conditions: heavy menstrual bleeding, uterine pathology, adenomyosis, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, chronic pelvic pain, and fertility-enhancing surgery — as well as colposcopy for cervical disease. My practice spans adolescence through to menopause, giving me a uniquely comprehensive view of how the female body changes across a lifetime.

Menopause

The menopause transition is one of the most consequential biological events in a woman's life — and one of the most poorly managed. I provide individualised HRT protocols, lifestyle strategies, and long-term monitoring to protect your brain, heart, and bones.

Medicine the way it should be practised.

The standard model of women's healthcare is broken. Symptoms are managed with a one-size-fits-all prescription. Investigations are ordered only when things go wrong. Menopause is treated as an inconvenience rather than a metabolic inflection point.

I was trained in that system, and I no longer practise that way. What I offer instead is deep, unhurried investigation — blood work, imaging, and biomarker analysis that most clinicians never order — combined with a genuine conversation about your goals.

The question I ask every patient: not "what's wrong with you?" but "what does thriving look like for you, and how do we get you there?"

I see every woman holistically — not as a collection of symptoms, but as a complete biological system at a particular moment in her life. However, I am clear about where my role ends. If investigations uncover a condition that requires specialist input beyond my scope — cardiac, oncological, endocrine, neurological — I will refer you directly to the right person, with full context, and coordinate your care. Comprehensive medicine means knowing when to collaborate, not just when to treat.

I

Diagnostics First

Every treatment plan begins with comprehensive testing. You cannot optimise what you have not measured.

II

Evidence, Not Opinion

Every recommendation is grounded in peer-reviewed research. I explain the data, the confidence levels, and the uncertainties.

III

Long-Term Monitoring

Biology changes. Your protocols should too. Ongoing biomarker tracking ensures your plan evolves with you.

IV

Whole-System Thinking

Hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, and nutrition are inseparable. I address all of them.

V

Holistic Care, Expert Referral

I assess you as a whole person. When a condition needs specialist input beyond my scope, I refer you — with full context and coordinated follow-up.

Dr. Kaushiki Dwivedee

A different kind of specialist.

I was Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at one of India's leading hospitals. Nearly three decades of clinical practice across India, the UK, and Australia. Fellowships from London and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. My entire clinical foundation is rooted in NHS training and UK academic medicine — one of the world's most rigorous evidence-based healthcare systems. And I was exhausted.

Not burned out in the dramatic sense — hollowed out in the quiet way that happens to doctors who are very good at their jobs for a very long time. So I picked up a barbell.

That decision — to start lifting weights, to learn nutrition properly, to treat sleep as a drug rather than a luxury — changed everything. Not just my body, but my entire clinical philosophy. My deadlift is now 120 kilograms. I encouraged my son and my mother to train alongside me. I started connecting the dots that modern medicine keeps in separate filing cabinets: fertility, hormones, metabolism, bone density, brain health, cardiovascular risk. One woman. One lifespan. One continuous biological story.

When I came across David Sinclair's Lifespan, I was impressed and frustrated in equal measure. The science was compelling — but women were missing. The longevity field, its protocols, its research, its prescriptions, was built around men and extrapolated to women as an afterthought. I decided to build the female-specific framework myself. I became menopausal. I enrolled in a Masters in Longevity Medicine. I kept lifting.

I am now Brisbane's only fertility specialist and longevity physician — consulting at Monash IVF Brisbane, Spring Hill, with visiting clinics in Gurgaon, India. The Longevity Shift is my specialised medical approach: combining IVF & reproductive medicine, operative gynaecological surgery, and longevity medicine across the full female lifespan — something no other specialist in Queensland is doing.

My Brisbane home tells you what I believe. Tatami mats and low seating — I sit on the floor deliberately, loading my hips and ankles in ways most people stopped doing in their forties. Plants everywhere, because cortisol responds to living things. Warm light in the evenings, because melatonin is a hormone you protect, not a supplement you take.

I follow what I prescribe. Every single day.
Lift heavy. Eat protein. Sleep like it is medicine. Know your numbers.

There is no other doctor in Brisbane saying this. There is no other doctor in Brisbane living this.

The endometriosis diagnosis took 9 years. It took one consultation here to have a surgical plan, a pain protocol, and for the first time in years, genuine hope. The depth of knowledge is extraordinary.
